Fitness Tip - Healthy Popsicles

We all scream for ice cream in the summer heat! A great way to cool off when it gets above 70 degrees here in Seattle without compromising your healthy lifestyle, is with a refreshing protein popsicle. It’s really quick and easy….

Protein Popsicle: (Makes about 8 popsicles)

2 cups frozen fruit (berries, mangoes, banana, pineapple, etc)

4 scoops of vanilla protein powder of your choice (preferably low-carb). (A great brand is called Energy First sweetened with Stevia, a natural sweetener. It can be purchased on-line at energyfirst.com)

¾ cup of water –can add more or less for various thickness

Blend in a blender until smooth.

Pour into popsicle molds and freeze overnight.

If you have a great healthy recipe, send it our way! We would love to add it to the future FT cookbook! Enjoy!
